Seat has officially released additional photos and first details of the all-new Toledo. The new Toledo features a large wide-opening rear hatch. In contrast to the Toledo II, which was equipped with a conventional boot lid, the latest version of the model line comes with a large, wide-opening rear hatch. For prices will be announced closer to launch. Here are some details and pictures of 2013 Seat Toledo:
2013 Seat Toledo Engine
In contrast to the Škoda's seven powerplant options, three will be on the Seat menu at launch: two petrol-flavored offerings in the form of a 1.2-liter, 73-horsepower TSI and a 1.4-liter, 119-hp TSI, and an oil-burning 1.6-liter, 102-hp TDI. Next year, a less potent 1.6-liter, 88-hp diesel will be added to the range.
Initial engines available at launch include the usual Volkswagen Group units. They are:
- 1.2-liter TSI producing 75 PS (55 kW / 74 hp) and CO2 emissions of 116 g/km
- 1.4-liter TSI producing 122 PS (90 kW / 120 hp)
- 1.6-liter TDI with outputs of 105 PS (77 kW / 104 hp) and CO2 emissions of 104 g/km
- During 2013, SEAT will add a 90 PS (66 kW / 89 hp) TDI variant
2013 Seat Toledo Standard Safety
The standard safety package for all Toledo models includes driver and passenger airbags, front side airbags and head/thorax airbags, while the base model also comes equipped with central locking, a two piece folding rear backrest and power windows in the front.
Market lauch of the all-new Seat Toedo will first take place in Spain
and Portugal in mid-November followed by the rest of Europe during 2013.
Other key markets for SEAT Toledo are Germany, Mexico and Turkey.
