2013 Hyundai i20 will be going through some drastic design changes this year, The Getz-replacing i20 brought a refreshing i30-inspired style to the brand's entry-level end at its debut. The centre fascia has been reworked to incorporate more sophisticated switchgear along with new piano black, high-gloss inserts on the dashboard for a classier appearance. The first images of the 2013 Hyundai i20 facelift with a new ultra-efficient powertrain, which will debut at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show. The company hopes to completely change the look of its supermini for the 2013 model year and will be unveiling the result of the changes at the end of 2012. Although it looks milder compared to newer and clean sheet designs such as the i40 and new Hyundai i30 wagon.

The Hyundai i20′s interior benefits not only from material upgrades, it also provides outstanding levels of roominess front and rear for a B-segment car. Headroom in the front is a generous 1,005mm and 970mm in the rear. There is also 1,350mm of shoulder room in the front and 1,340mm in the rear, while legroom is equally generous, providing 1,074mm in the front and 845mm in the rear. The load area of the i20 has a 295-litre capacity with the seats upright, which can be extended to 1,060 litres with the rear seats folded down.

On the exterior, the Hyundai i20 with the brand’s fluidic sculpture design language which features a new bumper fascia with hexagonal grille. In terms of dimensions, width (1,710 mm), height (1,490 mm) and wheelbase (2,525 mm) property from the old design, on the other hand, with overall length has increased by 55 mm over its predecessor to 3,995 mm.

2013 Hyundai i20 Engine

Under the hood with an impressive feature upgrades, a new 1.1 litre 3-cylinder U-II diesel engine that generates 75HP (55kW). Incorporating Hyundai’s Blue Drive technologies, it emits just 84 g/km of CO2. Making it the lowest emitting diesel combustion powertrain on sale today. This ground-breaking new engine will be offered alongside another sub-100g/km diesel powerplant in the form of the 90ps four-cylinder 1.4-litre ‘U-ll’ engine that emits 96g/km with the aid of Hyundai’s Blue Drive technologies. Completing the line-up are two petrol engines: an 85ps 1.2-litre and a 100ps 1.4-litre.
