2013 Ford Fusion Hybrid Titanium Dash

As 2013 Ford Fusions begin rolling into dealerships, the Detroit Free Press declared that the redesigned 2013 Fusion, which goes on sale this fall.  As with many recent Ford models, the Fusion traces its roots to Europe, riding on a heavily revised version of the previous Mondeo (Ford's midsize old world sedan) platform. Fusion Hybrid is also available in efficient and (Ford speaks for plug-in hybrid) Energy forms, and a choice between automatic and manually shifted six-speed transmissions. Ford promises that the chassis provides an ideal balance between ride comfort and agile handling. At this price the Fusion is far from base, with safety and convenience features to match the car’s luxury look. Adaptive cruise control is included with a pre-collision system and even a class-exclusive lane keeping feature. Thi warns you if you’re drifting out of your lane by vibrating the steering wheel and will also add steering to pull you back into the lane if deemed necessary.

It’s hard not to be impressed when looking atthe display screen on the center stack or the dual LCDs bookending the central speedometer in the gauge cluster. It drips “perceived value” just like the aroma of freshly baked dough and cinnamon will get you standing in line at Cinnabon.

Three Four-Cylinder Engines, The Fusion joins a number of its competitors in eschewing a V6 powerplant in favor of an all-four-cylinder engine lineup in the interest of fuel economy. While the entry-level engine is a carryover 2.5-liter unit with 170 horsepower and 170 lb-ft of torque, Ford expects most buyers will choose the optional 1.6-liter EcoBoost mill. This turbocharged and direct-injected four-cylinder produces 178 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque.

Fuel economy is rated at 22/34 city/highway mpg for the 2.5-liter mill; 25/37 mpg and 23/36 mpg for the 1.6-liter unit with the manual and automatic gearboxes, respectively; and 22/33 mpg and 22/31 mpg for the 2.0-liter motor with FWD and RWD, respectively. 2013 Audi S3 Sportback Reviews at the 2012 Paris Auto Show

The 2013 Audi S3 delivers impressive performance. Following yesterday’s reveal of the A3 Sportback, The 2013 Audi S3 will join the Audi A3 Sportback at the 2012 Paris Auto Show, but it's still not clear whether the S3 will be coming to the U.S., Audi has never exported it to the U.S. Audi says the "S" stands for "sport and style". Visually, there is not much difference between the S3 and the A3 with the S Line package. Details include a revised front bumper, quad tailpipes and a roof spoiler. The Audi S3 comes standard with a manual six-speed transmission. The S3 is powered by a new 2.0 TFSI with turbocharging and gasoline direct injection. Customers will have the option of choosing between 14 exterior colors, two offered exclusively for the S3: Panther Black and Estoril Blue. And, there aren’t a lot of differences between the S3 and the A3 equipped with the S Line package as it features an S single-frame grille, a revised front bumper, LED DRLs, updated side skirts and aluminum-look mirror caps, along with quad tailpipes, roof spoiler and a different rear bumper that incorporates a diffuser. It has been fitted with 18-inch alloy wheels wrapped in 225/40-series tires.

Interior the cabin there are gray instrument dials with white needles, a boost pressure indicator, power-retractable on-board monitor, brushed aluminum pedals and footrest, a flat-bottomed steering wheel, sport seats and a bunch of S logos.

The optional S tronic has a tall sixth gear. S tronic can be operated using the short selector lever or with the optional paddles on the steering wheel. It includes the modes D and S in addition to manual mode. The driver can activate launch control at the push of a button. This manages starts with controlled tire slip to deliver maximum engine power to the road.

The four-cylinder unit delivers a constant 380Nm of torque to the crankshaft between 1,800 and 5,500rpm. Rated power at 5,500rpm is 300hp, and the engine redlines at 6,800rpm. The sprint from zero to 100km/h is completed in 5.1 seconds when equipped with the S tronic (5.4 seconds with the manual transmission).

2013 Smart Fortwo Iceshine limited Edition Available to U.S. and Europe Buyers

Called the Smart Fortwo Iceshine limited Edition 2013, Smart USA says the car will go on sale some time towards the end of Fall, with just 300 examples available to U.S. and Europe buyers. As things start to heat up this summer, Smart will stay cool with a new Fortwo model called the Iceshine Edition. Though small in size, Smart makes a big statement with its special-edition cars. This exciting special model can be preordered in white or exclusive azure blue from June, while the first vehicles in this limited series will be rolled out to dealers in October 2012, with production beginning in September, Prices start at €14,490. 

While European customers will be able to order the Fortwo Iceshine coupe and cabriolet in two colors, including azure blue, Americans will only get the all-white version with white wheels. The cockpit features black leather seats with white cross-stitching and white fabric backrests. Iceshine models also offer LED daytime running lamps, power steering and heated seats.

The smart fortwo edition iceshine is available as a coupé or cabrio, with a 52kW mhd petrol engine or a 62kW petrol engine. (Smart).

Styling is sleek and reminds many onlookers, that's not a bad thing for an unknown brand entering the luxury field. The 2012 Tesla Model S all-electric sport sedan went into production in June of 2012 as the first "mass-produced electric vehicle" from Silicon Valley startup Tesla Motors. According to the company, the 2012 Tesla Model S will have up to 300 miles of range, a 4900-pound curb weight, and expected acceleration to 60 mph of 5.6 seconds. Musk hopes to assemble the Model S at a rate of 20,000 per year. A Sport model is planned for after launch. Musk expects a $7500 federal tax credit on electric vehicles of a certain size will defray the price to $49,900. The 2012 Tesla Model S may just be the first electric car that's simultaneously good-looking, fully digital in the best tradition of Silicon Valley innovation.

Key elements of the five-door, five-passenger car’s design, which was completed by Mazda USA's former design director Franz Von Holzhausen, include a relatively slippery 0.26 coefficient of drag and an expansive hatchback big enough to swallow a mountain bike. A twin-screen computer display with web connectivity features prominently in the leather-and-wood-trimmed cabin.

Model S is offered with three battery options, each delivering unprecedented range. All three batteries are contained within the same enclosure, integrating with the vehicle in the same way, providing structural, aerodynamic, and handling advantages.
