The 2013 Audi S3 delivers impressive performance. Following yesterday’s reveal of the A3 Sportback, The 2013 Audi S3 will join the Audi A3 Sportback at the 2012 Paris Auto Show, but it's still not clear whether the S3 will be coming to the U.S., Audi has never exported it to the U.S. Audi says the "S" stands for "sport and style". Visually, there is not much difference between the S3 and the A3 with the S Line package. Details include a revised front bumper, quad tailpipes and a roof spoiler. The Audi S3 comes standard with a manual six-speed transmission. The S3 is powered by a new 2.0 TFSI with turbocharging and gasoline direct injection. 2013 Audi S3 Exterior
Customers will have the option of choosing between 14 exterior colors, two offered exclusively for the S3: Panther Black and Estoril Blue. And, there aren’t a lot of differences between the S3 and the A3 equipped with the S Line package as it features an S single-frame grille, a revised front bumper, LED DRLs, updated side skirts and aluminum-look mirror caps, along with quad tailpipes, roof spoiler and a different rear bumper that incorporates a diffuser. It has been fitted with 18-inch alloy wheels wrapped in 225/40-series tires.

Interior the cabin there are gray instrument dials with white needles, a boost pressure indicator, power-retractable on-board monitor, brushed aluminum pedals and footrest, a flat-bottomed steering wheel, sport seats and a bunch of S logos.
2013 Audi S3 Engine
The optional S tronic has a tall sixth gear. S tronic can be operated using the short selector lever or with the optional paddles on the steering wheel. It includes the modes D and S in addition to manual mode. The driver can activate launch control at the push of a button. This manages starts with controlled tire slip to deliver maximum engine power to the road.
The four-cylinder unit delivers a constant 380Nm of torque to the crankshaft between 1,800 and 5,500rpm. Rated power at 5,500rpm is 300hp, and the engine redlines at 6,800rpm. The sprint from zero to 100km/h is completed in 5.1 seconds when equipped with the S tronic (5.4 seconds with the manual transmission).
