The European 2013 Honda CR-V sports some subtle design changes and a wider engine lineup that includes a pair of thrifty diesel units. Notably, for the first time in Europe, the CR-V will be offered with a choice of both two- and four-wheel drive versions. Honda has unveiled a prototype version of the upcoming European CR-V ahead of the model's debut at this year's Geneva Motor Show, and it won’t be arriving in showrooms until late October - early November, depending on the country. Compared to the North American model that went on sale last December. Check it out in the gallery (1300px).

At first glance, the tall-riding five door looks to be a carbon-copy of the U.S. On the outside, the European model features a number of refinements including a revised front bumper, front LED daytime running lights and rear LED lights, reshaped mirrors that incorporate turning signals and a fin-style antenna. There are no notable changes to the interior.
